A hidden gem in Google Chrome tells you almost everything you need to know about your technical SEO.

If you start searching the web for that info, you will get millions of pages telling you only fragments of it and then selling you pricey SEO services or tools that will show you the rest.

But you can get all the “cake” for free!

It not only will tell you what on your site can be considered “problematic,” but it will tell you what the engineers of Google see as problematic…

So it’s not theory…

It’s not a result of a foggy “experiment”…

Or other guesses based on statistical data.

The info comes straight from the “source” and will definitely tell how to make your website more suitable for better rankings and more free traffic from Google and other search engines.

So…

Are you curious about what I’m talking about?

Many of you may already know about this precious gem…

But even if you have never heard it – don’t worry!

I will give you a link to a page that explains everything well.

I’m talking about Lighthouse, of course…

“Lighthouse is an open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages. You can run it against any web page, public or requiring authentication. It has audits for performance, accessibility, progressive web apps, SEO, and more,” says the official page.

Under each of the mentioned groups of audits, you can find everything that can be considered “problematic” for the audited page, plus suggestions on how to fix it to provide a better user experience (and be suitable for higher ranking).

You can read more details here:

https://developers.google.com/web/tools/lighthouse

It’s a little bit technical stuff, but it’s exciting and valuable because it comes from the “source” and doesn’t involve somebody’s “psychic abilities” to know what works and what doesn’t.

But there is more to the story…

My soon-to-be-launched SEO tool takes that free library (Lighthouse) and builds upon it much more useful functionality:

– You can audit pages in bulk with a click of a button, so it’s ultra-easy and saves much time;

– Every audit report you get is saved in your own local database, so now you can review them and track your progress or monitor your website’s current state.

– You can create “audit blueprints,” which means you don’t need to enter URLs every time you want to see your current metrics;

– You can backup your data in the cloud and sync other devices;

– You can export and send reports to your dev team;

– You can group your audits by project, type of pages, domains, and many other ways.

Have I caught your interest?

It’s not ready yet, but you will learn first when it is.

Moreover, that must not stop you from using Lighthouse. It’s a really cool open-source library, and it will help you with your SEO right away.
